Future Lane doesn’t give immigration advice. Where to find official information, and how to check an adviser is licensed.

In New Zealand, immigration advice must come from a licensed immigration adviser or someone exempt from licensing, such as a lawyer with a current practising certificate. Future Lane is an education and settlement support business: we don’t assess visa eligibility or recommend visa strategies. When you need that advice, we connect you with a partnered Licensed Immigration Adviser (LIA).
What to do next
- Read the official information on Immigration New Zealand’s website for the visa you’re considering.
- If you want personal advice, use a licensed adviser. Check their licence on the Immigration Advisers Authority register, including the licence type.
- Keep your own copies of everything you submit.
Common mistakes
- Taking visa advice from someone who isn’t licensed or exempt, even if they’re helpful or well-meaning.
- Assuming a course choice guarantees a visa or residence outcome. No education provider or agent can guarantee that.
What we can help with
We can help you choose and compare courses, coordinate your education-provider application and documents, prepare to depart and settle in. For visa questions, we’ll refer you to a partnered LIA.
